If your assumption is that the book might be valuable, my guess is that it is not worth more than a hundred dollars or so and then not unless you find the right buyer. But not many people are as likely to value the book as much as you do because it is so personal. On the other hand, with unique painting of the sketches, it probably can't be valued the way any used book would be. Probably you need to make sure it's on your ordinary homeowners insurance, but that would be enough. If it burned or something, it would be irreplaceable anyway. You might want to speak to an informed gallery owner or even consult with your insurance provider.

Prairie MaryMary Strachan Scriverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00538160009129822362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15645774.post-88888511111133017342009-12-28T01:18:11.688-07:002009-12-28T01:18:11.688-07:00My name is Deborah Collins but my maiden name was ...My name is Deborah Collins but my maiden name was Bailey. This was in 80 or 81 I think. She was a wonderful teacher and a very sweet lady. I don’t know if anyone had mentioned how much she loved dragons. She always told me they were the victims of bad press. I know she did at least a few bronzes of dragons because I worked on them with her in the art department where we had a complete bronze foundry. Today I can find none of the things she shared with me but the memories will always be there. I was sad to read that her life was so difficult but I can tell you she herself was full of life and a pleasure to spend time with. I was sad to finally read she had passed away.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11930352471253924214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15645774.post-49649427584377909702008-02-20T21:16:00.000-07:002008-02-20T21:16:00.000-07:00Hello Mary.
